As an Arkansas fan I can’t help but dread a little about Pittman being poached

Guy has proven to be a great recruiter, ability to hire a good staff, and build something in the toughest division in football. He’s from Oklahoma.
Pittman, especially with Briles+Odom, has to be on someone’s list somewhere, right?

I imagine even if OU came calling, Ark would make worth his while to stay and I’m sure Pittman has a sense of loyalty to Ark for giving him his opportunity. He doesn’t seem like a guy who would bail after two years for a slight raise.

I doubt it. Not that he’s not a good coach, but his success seems specific to Arkansas and that staff. No way he keeps both Odom and Briles with him if he tries to move on. Briles could get a good HC offer later in this cycle.

As an Arkansas fan, you need to worry about Baylor or Iowa State poaching your coach. Arkansas isn't much better than a G5 type job.
