You guys should rehire him. He's a better fit for you.

I like Kiffin as a play caller, and I think he could unite a state. He could win more games, get better players and most likely piss a lot of people off at other schools. He could Jack Sparrow this flagship.

Don't get me wrong, Kiffin would be fun

I wouldn't want to play against him and it would definitely keep things interesting

But he's also a loose cannon, and I wonder if you guys would be hesitant to bring another guy with reckless tendencies into your program

I would be fairly shocked if we made of move for him but I wouldn't mind it

JMO, but if I'm Arkansas, I wait a year to hire a new HC, way too many big time openings to compete with, not to mention some that have yet to be official

Doesn't this happen every year? Every year, there are several P5 programs that open up. Wait a year, there will be several more.

Leach would be fun in Fayetteville. Norvell would be a solid hire for them.

Gus is going to be the coach. There is no search.

I'm going to have to come around on it.

Yeah....but then they're paid more to not work at a job for 3-4 years than most of us will ever make in a couple lifetimes. So...they don't really give much of a shite.

Mine too, but everyone who makes decisions seems like they rather take a short bus than a bullet train.

Are you sure BB gets the hook? I could see a situation where he is given another year due to upheaval at the AD spot.

Not if MIZZOU blows Arky away!

like I said, if I'm arkansas, it's gonna be a tough 12 months, but for long term progress, I would think it's better to get one of your top choices next year as opposed to getting a coach in their 3rd or 4th tier this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow! Never heard of that system? Where did you learn that system? You think waiting out a year because someone else that is high on being a top tier head coach will take the Arky job? Look how Missouri hired a guy who have potential to be a pretty good head coach even though he does not have any college head coaching experience. It have to be the right fit for the school. Same way should be done for Arky.

Kiffin would be on top of my list if I was Arkansas.

Then why isn't Tennessee going after him?
