If USC snags Aranda out from under the nose of LSU while Scott Woodward chases his "big game" names, then I'm going to laugh my arse off.
Aranda is too prefect of a fit at LSU and will win multiple national titles there... So I fully expect them to shot the bed snd miss out and pay $12 million to a guy like Lincoln Riley or Jimbo.

what BS? southern cal is a cornerstone program of CFB, has a boat load of local talent, and is pretty much the only historical power in the western half of the country. if he makes them decent, they'll have 1 tough test in the forseeable future (oregon), compared to numerous at LSU (bama, auburn, tamu, fla/uga/ole miss, etc)
did I also miss the fact that USC doesn't have a rabid fanbase who wants half their coaching staff fired after a loss?

No! Please Woodward this is the splash! The man can coach. I truly believe he is the next big time coach. His attention to detail and constant focus will make him one of the elite. He has to be the best option of the tier 2 coaches. Make it happen.

Even if Stoops is the next coach, which I severely doubt, you aren't "taking" him over Aranda if Aranda chooses to go elsewhere.
