There is none. I watched Dave get fired up and animated with his players on the sidelines. Would be a great hire!

Mediocrity.

Not recruiting to our full potential.

I think we would do just find in recruiting if you can't pull a huge name like Riley then go for him. I would rather him over Tucker or Fickle

It’s not getting past Tucker and he’s 3rd on the list.

If they hire a one hit wonder like Tucker because he hit in the transfer portal, they’ll relive the days of Dinardo.

And how exactly do you know this?

You don't. Because no one knows anything.

Jesus Christ what is it with y’all wanting Aranda, the guy has only been a HC for a couple of years and really haven’t done much, for god sakes he lost to TCU with an interim HC. Also he is not a great recruiter would y’all please shut up with this Aranda shite.

Serious question, Who do you consider to be a “big name” that are legit options for LSU?

No I think he would be a good hire he's proven to have good defenses and he isn't any more of a risk then the other coaches in the running

I don't care that he's only been coaching a couple of years. Hell, it looks like he was holding LSU together as assistant HC for a few years. As near as I can tell, Dave is the smartest guy out there. He's also one of the most hard working. He will be able to make full use of the resources available at LSU and get everything worked out. He's not a bad recruiter, and what he lacks there will no doubt be made up for by the staff, better talent evaluation, and better player development. I think Dave is the best choice.

TCU typically recruits better (better players), and if it weren't for his weak QB throwing a late interception he would have won that game. I'm not going to knock him down a few pegs because he lost a close one.

I want Aranda, and if we don't get him, we're going to regret it when we have to play him coaching another SEC team.

Let's see..., he takes over a team last year and needs to install an offense and a defense. But then Covid hits and he can't have spring practice to do anything. That makes it pretty much impossible to have his team ready. So, he goes 2-7. I'm not sure we can consider that indicative of his coaching anymore than we can consider 2019 as indicative of O's coaching.

I think this year's 7-2 is a more indicative of his abilities and that's a Baylor where he has a significant deficiency in talent. He'll kill it at LSU.

The top four are Riley, Petersen, Jimbo and Aranda.

Says who? SW hasn't said anything publicly. Everything is just speculation at this point.
