What does hiring good coaches have anything to do with this?

He clearly had a plan for this ready for a while. This wasn’t a whim decision

Aranda is definitely hiring a A+ staff for Baylor.
They should be very successful.

Depends if he can get back to his previous success. I think allowing him to focus on JUST offense will really help.

He’s had top 20 offenses a fair amount.

It’s gonna suck when he’s A&Ms head coach in 3 years

More likely he returns as LSU head coach in 7-8 years after success at Baylor

I can see them challenging Oklahoma regularly, it’s there for the taking the the Shorthorns floundering

If he has success at Baylor he won't be there in 7-8 years.

Yeah if he does that it’s 100 percent more likely he is a SEC foe vs our own HC.

Aranda said he learned more from Coach O, than any other coach he has been around. His story of hardships, learning from those hardships, applying lessons learned, having success... and the binder.

Baylor is going to contend for the BXII and will land a much bigger job in a few years if he wants it.

CA guy so it only makes sense that USC comes calling if he's successful at Baylor. Assuming they need a coach when the time comes for him to move on from Baylor.

Despite being a Ca guy, I don’t think Aranda is interested in the LA circus.

Baylor is a much better job than Texas. And it doesn't take a certified mensa genius to realize it.
