I don’t, but you suggested the current crap inexperienced OC could stay under the new head coach and suggested one of the hottest OC’s in CFB is going to take a co-OC position.

With all due respect, your suggestions aren’t happening.

That would be my guess as well.

for what purpose would you keep Peetz if you could get Briles?

Some days we would fight you for him and some days we would let him go cheap.

Aranda HC/DC

how many defensive head coaches still call plays, like offensive guys do? I guess it would fit okay since Aranda was already on the sideline.

I think you aim for bigger game first with Aranda as the back up plan

If Aranda gets the gig, I’ve actually wondered if he keeps Daronte.

I wouldn’t mind it. He’s very cerebral. Get him the right OC and good things could happen.

He's a brain and acts professionally. He's respected and likeable. I'm sure he would do well.

I actually think keeping both coordinators would be best case scenario. I think both Peetz and Daronte are both very capable and are improving. Aranda already has history with Daronte and is familiar with Mangus and company from his LSU time.

Aranda is a better hire than Tucker if we want a defensive minded guy. He knows the SEC, probably knows a lot of the current players on our roster, and will absolutely have our defense prepared and playing the right way. He would be a really good hire. Just need to make sure he keeps a legit offensive guy to run that side of the ball.

Let’s be realistic. Considering the School President, Aranda isn’t dark enough of a minority.

Knows how to hire offensive coordinators (see Grimes at Baylor) as he can recognize what offense gives him fits
Saban has made mediocre coordinators multiple millions just by telling them what to run.

How pissed would Baylor be if we got Aranda after getting Mulkey

Aranda just gives me Saban vibes

I like Aranda a lot and would be thrilled if he’s the next coach.

But if you are expecting Saban, you will be disappointed. It’s not even remotely fair to have that as the Standard.

Hell I almost feel bad for whoever follows him at Bama because nothing he does will be good enough.

Aranda gets my vote. There's a reason we were stable enough to make the run in 2019, Dave Aranda was a big part of that stabilizing force.

I said Saban vibes. The expectation is that he wins and LSU is set up to win.

Plus, Aranda makes 1.6 million less than Tucker. And Aranda is coaching in a conference that is about to become irrelevant.
