Applause for the Admin

I think we should all step back and root for O. Second chances are part of what we are all about. Geaux Eaux
As important the admins need a bit of an applause. The money for coaches is getting a bit absurd. I have said early in Hermans resume is not worth even giving him his kind of a shot much less paying him a whole lot more than he was making. If Herman says I will take the opportunity let's roll. Then LSU was prepared to run with him. ( applause maybe ) but they would not participate in being played. LSU is far better than Tom Herman . And now the administration has turned back the clock a bit in this arms race and salary increases for Head Coaches. If Tom Herman is worth Saban Money with that resume what the heck are Other Coaches worth? And where do we go. Every market has its correction and I for one hope Herman gets caught in that correction. Let's hope Strong gets another year and does well and when LSU meets Texas in 2019 that CEO and Charlie Strong are leading preseason too 5 teams and Tom Herman is the new coach at Vandy

Relative to the resume. Herman is not worth 6 million. I have said from day one Herman isnot worth this job. His resume doesn't support. 9-3 and 9-3 at Houston. No way .
He overplayed his hand. Maybe Texas will pay. Maybe not.
I am not thirllled with O as the Coach . But I have no argument with what he has done so far. He did take a team that was absolutely dead and had them play hard with energy and opened up the offense. If he truly is able to bring Kiffin in and keep Aranda. It could be good things lie ahead. Nothing is a sure thing. But I support the Admin for not playing Hermans game.

Not trying to make an argument. Just trying to say I think the administration did the right thing
Fisher is not worth7 million with ten year contract
Herman is not worth 6 million.
i applaud the Adminstration I hope Other administrations will take a cue from this.
I have no problem with rewarding success and paying coaches. I too remember the days were LSU was cheap. I know that is not the case here. Pay for resume and value but don't get hijacked.
We can be proud of our adminstration today.
And quietly all administrations across the country are hoping it is wildly successful.
So am I. And I hope so is the entire LSU family .
Looking forward to a huge bowl victory!

So winning a national title as an offensive coordinator using a 3rd string qb to beat bama and Oregon now makes you overpriced? Then going to a small school like Houston and beating Oklahoma,Florida state and Louisville too

Also Saban resume was much better than Herman at the time. Much better. I have said since the day Miles was fired Herman resume did not stand up to this job at this time. He certainly is not worth 6 million resume wise.
Don't try to compare Saban resume in 2000 with Herman today. I don't care about Mensa

I would certainly eat my words. Don't think Texas will pay 6 million though. So I would reserve comment Til I see the deal Texas cuts with him .
