It wasn't the only reason, but it didn't help and LSU has a long history of people not keeping their mouths shut. All this JF media attention and stories give me de ja vu from last year. Anyone else concerned the "community" (boosters, staff, anyone seeking attention with actual insight) will frick this up?

No. it's not boosters who are going to frick this deal, it's going to be Joe.

Yep. There was no need for The Advocate article by Dellenger. Now Jimbo gets to be asked about LSU all week.

Fair enough. That's also a concern of mine. I guess I don't trust anyone

4 of my friends Say it's a done deal. Was agreed upon Saturday. Interesting that is the first I heard of that. Not one mention of it being done Saturday unless I missed something. Personally I think they are full of shite, but one of them has predicted events in the past.

The leaks seem a lot more systematic to me.

I believe this has been a process held much much much more close to the vest this time around, and I think quite a few "boosters" are being fed inaccurate and incomplete information on purpose. There are only about 3 people that know exactly what is going down.

If a coach really wants to come to LSU, it probably wouldn't be some boosters spilling info that keeps him from making the move.

leaks weren't really a factor in last year's coup going south, people have really overrated it at least

It didn't help and put Fisher in an awkward spot and FSU time to respond

Joe assumed Orgeron was going to win out. Now he's scrambling to talk numbers at the last minute when he should have been doing that over the last eight weeks. Sexton is doing his job and taking advantage of Joes oversight. It's embarrassing.

Well when your AD is the one leaking info then I think your concerns are valid

Again, if true, that's the dumbest possible strategy. A meth addicted six year old with a head wound would have better foresight. frick Orgeron. He never should have been in the running. Alleva should have determined from the outset that he needed a different permanent HC. Hope you are wrong.
