A lot of people don't know who the want but most who know want Freeze, however, they don't know if LSU can hire Freeze.

The delay is really odd. No need to not announce it. I mean, it was reported by every media outlet that Canada and LSU negotiated the split in one day. I would figure restructuring a current employee's contract wouldn't drag on this long. Herman had his Texas contract in 36 hours.
Yes, I am holding out hope because I don't want to see this football club suffer any longer, nor I suffer with it. Probably false hope but it's something. But really, something weird is definitely up with the admin right now...

Everything about this is odd. And, usually, common sense wins out.
But, as much as I want to think that something must be happening since there is no real reason for the delay, I remind myself that there is ZERO rumors/chatter about LSU interviewing or being interested in another coach.

As others have mentioned it is very odd that Ensminger hasn’t been officially announced yet. And I can’t imagine it would take too long to hammer out contract details for someone who didn’t even want the job.
That said, since so many talking heads have reported Ensminger I’m just going to assume that’s the case. But LSU admins could complicate masturbation so who knows wtf is going on behind the scenes

I am hoping he is waiting on someone in the NFL playoffs (Sark, Lombardi, maybe someone else). I didn’t say it was realistic hope, I just said I’m hoping.
