That wasn’t chickens report, that was bountyhunter’s post. It just got buried and didn’t get a lot of traction so chicken reposted it along with a few other interesting tidbits.

While true, none of them have been met with qualifiers and details like bountyhunter’s post. Which is probably the reason that chicken felt compelled to start a thread, bringing them to light and not letting them get completely buried.

It’s amazing how people could take what is obviously very good news and spin it into something terrible. Yes, it would be extremely stupid for LSU to stop talking to other candidates and just wait on Kiffin for a week. The fact that they have stopped the search should be a clear indication that they have no need to continue searching. They aren’t waiting on Kiffin because they already have their answer.

Y’all are gonna be really disappointed next Saturday when Lane is not announced the coach because he chooses to stay at Ole Miss.

Yeah I still think this is a likely outcome. Maybe not the most likely anymore but he still may choose to stay at Ole Miss after a week more of thinking about it. So we better have a contract ready for someone else to sign next Sunday so we can have a coach by signing day.

An MOU will be signed, or not
There is no reason to broadcast it tomorrow. Lane may have asked for that as part of the MOU signing
