I’ve listened to dozens of podcasts this week on CFB and LSU and I haven’t heard Riley’s name once

Where did all of this come from?

Jimbo
Aranda
Napier
Tucker
Franklin

Those are the only ones I’ve heard

Been not so subtly hinted at by proven insiders on 247.

You better hope Riley turns us down because you know who's next on the list. Neither of our fan bases want Jimbo at LSU.

I think the general consensus from all of our "insiders" is that Riley has been offered and up until recently he hasn't responded to it.

Other than that, we're mostly throwing shite against the wall to see what sticks.

Woody has a history of hiring a coach not linked to the job until it’s basically taken. I would consider most linked to us as backups.

Doesn’t mean it’s Rileybut the offer is in the hands of someone big we aren’t hearing about

You want my honest opinion? You would be better off with Mel Tucker. Let me explain.

Lincoln Riley's success has been in an offense friendly Big 12. What are his main competition? A dysfunctional texas since Mack Brown was run off?

Challenging question for Tigers. Do you think he will stand up to the SEC competition?

Mel Tucker. He has been succesful in a realistically challenging conference.

Just my 2 cents... as an Ag, I would be more concerned with Tucker than Riley.

So called insiders posted that Riley has an offer. The board idiots ran with it. Those same insiders said they werent as involved with this search as they have been, so they dont know how accurate their info is. That part got ignored

The insiders later came back and said Riley was given a deadline, but they dont know when it was. Here are their texts
quote:

RLH it’s Riley’s job if he wants it. Getting to a shite or get off the pot period with him. ... 10/29

quote:

Saban is still in play?

RLH Sure. ... 10/23

quote:

TBL I said Riley has an offer. I am talking about the names after Riley....

If Riley makes the playoffs again then I doubt he is coming. 11/1

quote:

TBL Franklin and Tucker are still in it. My friend said Scott will make Riley tell him no before moving on. 10/23

quote:

VT13 Jimbo is the fallback...

Sexton has told Woodward exactly what must happen for their to be an agreement reached. As it stands there is no agreement in place, but there is an understanding as to what would be offered should we cross that bridge

Gun to my head? Jimbo… think we’d have our answer from Riley by now. 10/29

Riley is an illusion created on here, and there has never been a conversation with his people

You can't escape the fact that NFL coaches are constantly reaching out to him to pick his brain about offense. No matter what conference you play in, that speaks volumes.

I've heard it a few times, one I can remember was Kevin Clark talking about in on the Russillo pod.

riley > jimbo > tucker/napier/aranda/franklin

it'll be napier.

riley will be at ou as long as he's coaching in college.

tucker will stay at michst

aranda will go to usc

franklin and jimbo not going anywhere.

i want aranda, but he'll pick usc over LSU.

fickell is the wild card.

Look it is obvious I am an Ag. I am not picking at yall. Just asking some legitimate questions.

Don't interpret that otherwise.
