Am I wrong is stating that there is no credible info that an interview has taken place

Reading between the lines, it sure seems like (and has seemed like for a while) that LSU simply isn't doing anything to find an outside coach.
This makes no logical sense to me. But, if nobody can confirm even an interview, the writing on the wall is as clear as day.

It appears that they've been leaking potential names to give the appearance they've conducted a real search.

Actually it’s probably a combination of this and seeing who their leaks are.

I think that Gilbert and Helfrich interviewed last year. Maybe they're counting those.
Frankly, having your "Co-OCs" (assuming it's Ensminger/Sullivan) average over 60 years old doesn't make a lot of sense in this wide open, young man's game - particularly with the way offenses are and the types of players they're recruiting. Defensive players (and coaches) tend to be more conservative, just generally, and older guys tend to have a longer shelf life than the offenses, especially over the past 20 to 25 years.
Unless, the surprise in all of this is that they're going to hire a hot shot, young and coming kid to be QB coach, and OC of the future? (A guy can dream, can't he?)

To be fair, they just finalized the split with Canada on Friday, but the complete lack of flight tracker threads would seem to support the OP.

Shouldn't this be no interviews have taken place yet or as far as we know. Your statement makes it sound like they have made a decision and they did not interview anyone. While that might be the case, we really do not know yet. We may know that so far they have not interviewed anyone but do we really know if they have made a decision. Would it be possible that they could have interviewed someone or are interviewing but we would not know about it? Would that be possible to pull off?
