Just as long as they don't come after Burton Burns.

I wouldn't think Tulane was willing to pay enough for recruits. Taylor requires big payments to players to be successful.

Tulane fans loved him while he was there. Don't know how they'd feel with him as Head Coach. I'd prefer him over Frank Wilson or Curtis Johnson. He'll land the same guys they would and he has a little Coordinator experience, which is more than those guys. Most wouldn't be thrilled with the hire, but I would like it.

Wrong he was a successful recruiter already at Tulane for 5 years.

ETA: someone explain how this would be more of a disaster than Frank Wilson or Curtis Johnson.

Would he have to wear his hat towards the front? Probably a deal killer if that's required.

Maybe, I'd feel a lot better if he had some coordinator experience though.

Would he still wear his hat backwards as a HC?
