But tell me again how much better we are as a program. Riley is not coming to LSU. Forget it.

Why we have Coach O as our head coach? The LSU coaching job is so good we had to hire the coach no one wanted because no one wanted us. Ah yes... I remember.

You seem obsessed to prove against something a very small amount of people believe in the first place.

I don't understand.

This just further proves LSU is better.

LOL 1950?

Bruh, they dominate a horrible conference and are coming to the SEC.

What would their record be if they had been in the SEC this entire time? Tell me how many conference championships they would have. They have pretty much an automatic 1 loss season built in over there and they still drop 2 games a season.

They won 4 championships in the 50s and 70s.

Yay? Pretty irrelevant at this point in time.

LSU has won 3 titles and played for a 4th since the last OU title. All the while playing in a much stronger conference.

BTW, LSU has around 46 players in the NFL right now, OU has 31.

Riley is 0-3 in the playoffs at OU.

I'll never understand fans that want to scold others for wanting a top notch coach. Do you beat your family into giving up their dreams as you sit in your lazy boy drinking Natural Light?

We’ve played your best teams in the playoffs or natty and absolutely wrecked them.

OU allowed us to break every record imaginable in the playoff. Thank you.

Without even looking at the link, I can tell you OU and LSU are apples and oranges in comparison. One of them is rich in a deep history, has been relevant for a long time throughout multiple coaching changes, and is poised for a long run of titles in the not so distant future. The other is OU.

OU ‘s model for success is “ playing in the big 12”

They will get wrecked in the SEC.

The Iowa State team OU had to play in the Big 12 championship game lost to UL Lafayette

Has OU even won a playoff game yet?

And yet that bumbling idiot of a coach won a National Championship with arguably the greatest college football team of all time at LSU. Meanwhile the “mastermind coach” Lincoln Riley hasn’t won dick at OU.

Hmmm... so the “mastermind coach” can’t win anything of any importance at OU, while a bumbling idiot can easily win a national championship at LSU.....

Tell me again how OU is better....

That’s twice I’ve bitch slapped you on this subject. Wanna go for a third and make yourself look even more ignorant or have you had enough?

They've also struggled with Tulane, Nebraska, Kansas State and West Virginia. Also lost twice to unranked KSU a couple of times the past few years. That would be my concern with Riley. He's already at a really good job. What's the reason for these struggles and why would he be better at LSU?

I think he could be good here. But, is he a championship level coach?

He can’t win a title at OU, it’s as simple as that. In the past 15 years, however, a d-line coach and a bumbling moron have won titles at LSU.

Was Les Miles or Ed Orgeron based on their resume?

While I agree that it would be a long shot for LSU to land Riley, I don't think it's impossible. At the time of the O hire you had a unprofessional small man as your AD who folded like a lawn chair to outside factors. The president at the time was screaming bankruptcy in order to get funding and didn't like the look of LSU laying out big money for a big hire. Put those 2 idiots together and you get the O hire. Woodward is not that man. He is in complete control and has the respect of other programs and their coaches. They know he will put them in the best situation to succeed and be paid very nicely to do it. You are fooling yourself even if you take off the purple glasses if you don't recognize LSU as a top coaching job. Times changes man things evolve and LSU has evolved into one of the best programs in the country.
