That game was on sportsouth the other day and I was screaming at the tv, "run the fricking ball". How does a head coach mess up like that when I know to run the ball and I don't know shite about coaching?

Brett Favre sealed LSU's fate by single handedly beating Florida State and Auburn, thus delivering to LSU the worst coach in the history of college football.

Gerry Dinardo sealed his fate when he lost to Tennessee 62-0 while coaching at Vanderbilt. A few weeks later, LSU hired him.

You know, those victories over big name teams were about the only thing Hallman accomplished at SMiss. He had one good year and the rest were really mediocre. I can't for the life of me understand what they were thinking when they hired him. I believe that he had a "Bear" Bryant lineage but besides that, I'm stumped. There must have not been any other coaches available.

I know we passed on Steve Spurrier and hired Archer, but Spurrier probably would have left for Florida eventually anyway.
