Is there really a question here? A coach is only as good as his record and there are people on here that want to turn over a Top 8 program to a guy that is 20-28, instead of a guy that is 75-17 with 4 ACC Titles and 1 NC. Seriously, I hope these people aren't in charge of financial decisions.

They would rather watch the program burn with O at the head then admit they are wrong about him

Jimbo Fisher is garbage

I wish I could pull threads from post Rohan/Josh Reed year under Fisher. I'd be willing to be most wanted him fired.

But pay the man Harbaugh money

The "Oeaux" fanboys don't like facts. They base all their decisions on emotion

What is even more comical is the Pro-O anti-Fisher crowd are actually touting O's 10-3 record as an Interim as proof he's "learned" from Ole Miss while SIMULTANEOUSLY saying Jimbo's 3 loss season shows he's "Miles 2.0"

Dig into O's 10 IC wins and what you find is he beat 9 teams he should have with 1 quality win : His wins : Stanford 11-3, Arizona 8-5, Ore State 7-6, Utah 5-7, Colorado 4-8, Cal 1-11, Mizzo 3-7, So Miss 5-5, OM 5-5, Arky 6-4.

His 3 losses as IHC? Notre Dame 9-4, UCLA 10-3, Alabama 10-0. Those are the 3 biggest games for USC and LSU .

Yeah they'd rather O "try it" for two years, fail miserably, then say after "well at least we gave him a chance. He deserved it". These are a lot of the same people who swore LSU could NEVER do any better that Les Miles. The same "who else is gonna do better" mentality.

What if: Jimbo was hired and failed miserably.

Will you same people calling O fans idiots admit you're idiots?

My stance is hire the best coach without losing other coaches. Mainly Aranda

Oh my. Did I hurt some of you pussies feelings? Of course only your opinions are right or matters, right?

You've already shown you have no clue on what you're talking about when you said we had a 9-6 Auburn game. Why don't you log off and let the smart people talk?

What facts?

And that Ole MIss thing is sort of a big deal. I would think a coach's past in running a program is put into considering when making a hire.

Let's dig into what he did at LSU:

During his tenure at LSU he coached the QB's that hold 4 of the top 10 single-season passing records (total yards) - Davey (2001), Russell (2006, 2005) and Mauck (2003).

During his tenure at LSU he coached the WR's that hold 4 of the top 10 single-season reception records: Josh Reed (2001, 2000), Michael Clayton (2003), Dwayne Bowe (2006).

Reed and Davey are near the top of every single-season record list in LSU history in their respective categories. Did you follow LSU football in the early 2000's?

He's been a head coach at Ole Miss and the interim head coach at USC and LSU

His combined record is 20-28

Good point, so if you are going to fire said coach, you better not replace him with someone that is 20-28.
