People from Wisky see this and must think "Holy shite" for a DC. Which is one of the reasons they lost him in the first place. Hope our defense kills it next year.

Exactly what I stated. LSU wouldn't have to match A&M. They'd only have to sweeten the deal.

$10 mil is cheaper than all the buyouts to get rid of him and O, and all the upheaval that would come along with that.

I'm sad I didn't recognize this already. That is a telling price of info.

It's actually around 10.8

When LSU thinks it's worth it to spend, they can spend with the big boys.

This isn’t correct, both are now under contract through the 2021 season.

Would really like to see the terms and conditions of his new contract.

Second thought, elite coordinators will come here, simply to boost their contracts with O at the helm. I am no longer a fan of a CEO type HC with elite coordinators. Get a HC who knows his stuff so that if a coordinator starts pushing for more, we can put him in his place. We've simply just moved funds around.

Aranda’s buyout is now bigger than O’s though.

What does it say about our program and what we think of our head coach?

Aranda is probably the next head coach if Joe sticks around.
