I really like Dan Jones. His book on the Plantagenets is an effortless read.

Gravity's Rainbow
Doing it on Audible. I've quit on it 3 times in the print version, and am seeing why yet again. Heh. There are aspects to it that I do like, but holy crap can it be tedious too. Finishing Gravity's Rainbow is a bucket list item for me.
Finishing Infinite Jest was the same kind of thing for me, and now it's probably my favorite book. But I'm reasonably certain I'm not going to have the same reaction to Gravity's Rainbow.

Just finished up the paperback book of the crusades
It flows really well. And once it gets going it was very fascinating
Hope you liked it as much as I did

I’m loving it. Right now I’m in the Baibars period.

Cajun Justice by James Patterson and Tucker Axum
I believe this is the guy from Lafayette who won a contest during Patterson’s Master Class. The top prize was a co-authorship with Patterson. So far, pretty good.

Just started (read intro timeline and personnel and 3 whole pages of story) a tome of a book...."Great North Road" by Peter F. Hamilton.
Also, still working on that Cthulhu Mythos collection. Have about 4-5 stories and 100 pages left.
