I’m only a chapter in. It was easy reading and interesting to me. But I do think the book will be largely economic theory with historical arguments as support. It does seem to be directed to the general public for what that’s worth.

I'm working through The Will of the Many....it's really, really good. Taking a break from the Red Rising series...did two of those, break, then the final two. On book 23 of the year, my best year of reading already (with many more to come!)

Kidding. That's awesome. I'm behind on where I wanted to be but a few that I have read were 1K plus so I've read a decent amount of pages, just not that many books. I think 7 or so for me.

Edit: 9 books actually so not bad. That's actually ahead of my 2024 pace.

I'm in a competition with my wife (she's not competing, but I am), and I have to read more books than her before baby #3 gets here in May, because she'll proceed to destroy me after that

Just about to finish the audiobook. Tough listen and living like that daily has to be pure hell.

I just deleted Twitter and am trying to get back into reading. Scrolling was taking up all of my reading time.

I read Blood Meridian a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it, so I’m starting All the Pretty Horses (first in Cormac McCarthy’s border trilogy). Looking forward to it!

I enjoyed part one. Interesting summary of historical developments in ethics. Fairly straightforward and relatively easy to understand for a layman. Part two has been less so to date and I have set it aside for now.

This completes my complete re-read of Sullivan's 18 land of Elon books. He is currently writing a 6th Riyria Chronicles novel and a post-Riyria series consisting of 5 books called The Cycle. He has completed book one and is currently writing book 2.

If you haven't read Sullivan's work I highly recommend him. These are my favorite fantasy series.

Just read about the grandmother murdered in her home. Hamas filmed it with her phone and posted it to her Facebook for her friends and family to see. Absolutely grotesque.

Passenger by Cormac McCarthy.

Kind of disappointed.

Maybe Stella Maris will make it better.
