Just finished Warbreaker. What’s nice tight story. Tress is next.

I loved Tress of the Emerald Sea. Very Princess Bride-esque.

If yall haven't read any Amor Towles, I'd recommend you give one of his novels a try. He has a knack for writing about mundane things in a way that just enthralls and captivates me. He's also an excellent story teller, and his top notch exposition just adds to that.

I'm in the middle of All Quiet on the Western Front. I know it was assigned reading for me at some point in this life, but I just do not remember the book being quite this good.

Chapter 7 is some of the best description of a soldier's life ever.

Left for dead - Eric Jay dolin

His newest book and it’s very reminiscent of “ the wager” but this is one 260 pages with pictures on most every page so this is a very short easy read

Next up is Leviathon- also by Dolin about the history of whaling in America

This is the first book by Stephen Leather I have read not featuring SAS/MI5 Operative, Spider Shepard as the protagonist. In Triggers, a young girl in Russia is pimped to oligarchs and politicians by her father. As she matures, she develops multiple personalities, each of which has special skills useful in exacting revenge against those who raped her. A British agency captures her after she kills a Russian oligarch and eight of his bodyguards. The agency wants to put her skills to use in their black ops.
