Let us know how that one is. I love a good English history book.

Also jumping on this train.

Bluegrass, Execution is the 6th book in a series. The main character, Giodorno Bruno, is a philosopher turned spy (Walsingham) who is also deemed heretic navigating his way through the Tudor Dynasty. I don't know if you're familiar with C. J. Samson's Shardlake series but the two are similar. I recommend both.

Now you’re just threatening me with a good time.

I’ll have to check out Shardlake as well. Thanks for the rec.

I got a lot out of Atomic Habits. Definitely helped me change a few things last year. Hope it helps you too!

My dad bought and read the Foundation series in the 80's when I was a little kid. I guess I wanted to be like dad, so I picked up the first one after he was on one of the later titles. I was captivated by the cover art of the paperback Del Rey editions. Anyway, I was about 9, it was way over my head. I read and re-read the first dozen pages before finally accepting that this was beyond my abilities. I still have the books though, gonna give it a go when it feels right.

Currently reading:
1. The Book of the Subgenius by the Subgenius Foundation
2. How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive by John Muir
3. Ernie's War (WWII correspondence of Ernie Pyle) edited by David Nichols
4. Becoming a Supple Leopard by Dr. Kelly Starrett & Glen Cordoza
5. Atomic Habits by James Clear - just picked this up from the library yesterday morning.

When I read fiction I tend to only read 1 book at a time, but I can't resist the urge to read several different things at once when it's non-fiction or technical/reference.

I’m about 1/3 of the way through and it has some good stuff so far. Utilizing a notebook as I read it to plan some things out to start.

Also, reading this one for a client that transferred to me. I don’t normally see clients under 10, so this is a little outside of my wheelhouse.

I've been on a big Blake Crouch kick lately (I've read 11 of his books, still have a few more to go), can anyone familiar with his work suggest a similar author?

Razzmatazz - Christopher Moore. A noir comedy that is very good so far. I've read a number of his books but not in years. This one has the potential to be my favorite of his.

BTW - I'm doing this on audiobook and recommend it that way. The narrator is really good at doing all the accents of that era and it really adds to the story.
