Looking to switch to a Tom Clancy novel. I have Patriot Games and the Hunt for Red October. I've seen both movies. Which one would the board recommend?

Start with Patriot Games.

Yes, it's very good.
His best work is Cardinal of the Kremlin, but it contains spoilers for earlier books.

I like this one a lot. It goes into a lot of spy craft details that I found really interesting.
