Read them in order. May seem dated a little bit with change in geopolitics, but they are all good reads. Cardinal is probably my favorite in the Jack Ryan universe. It's been a lot of years though since I read them. Good memories.

Not a bad one in the bunch.
Red Storm Rising was my intro to Clancy and his first, I believe. Great novel.
Hunt for Red October was first Jack Ryan novel. Great but a bit too technical.
I really got into Sum of All Fears and then Debt of Honor and its companion Executive Orders.
Cardinal K had least action but best writing.
Most of his novels were about 800 pages. You really had to slog through the first 500 pages as he built worlds and storylines. But then you were rewarded with 300 pages of phenomenal storytelling as it all came together brilliantly.
His later works, mostly ghost written, fell off a bit. But still worthy. Book readers lost a treasure when he passed away too early.

I've read all of Clancy's books - all good reads - Without Remorse is my favorite.
