Started audiobook 2. I like Mordecai’s new voice much better than his old one. Carl’s “action voice” appears to be toned down as well, which is nice. While I appreciate their adding a sound to indicate chat, I’m not sure how I feel about the sound they chose. It’s not bad in a vacuum, but it’s a lot when strung together over and over

My wife got some of those buttons for dogs where you can record a sound and teach the dog to tell you what they want. I have the Prepotente scream recorded on one and he hits that button when he wants to go outside

LitRPG is such a guilty pleasure lol. I picked up the first one on a whim and crushed it in like two days. Book 3 drags a bit but it picks back up. Jeff Hayes is insane on the audiobook. Dude deserves an award.

Reddit is a cesspool and a vocal few are "furious" that "everyone" is casting an all white casting
And their example is a screen shot of 7 post where 3 are white actresses suggested for Odette even though 90% keep saying that cross dresser with a TV show paul something
All that to say, reddit will be mad if Louis is not the most Mexican looking Mexican... Sorry, the most Hispanic looking Hispanic in the history of the world and Carl is the only white person because Katia is Icelandic and that is not the same?

Thanks TD book board for recommending this series, my wife started listening on audible so now I’m nervous if she will like it or think I’m a weird bastard for liking it

Parade of Horribles was probably my least favorite of all the books but there are some bright spots. Carl karaoki to Aha Take on Me might be one of the best audiobook scenes I've ever heard.
