Only a couple more to get right and I'm all on board
I've been thinking and I am willing to bet that Seth and Peacock are going to use this as an AI test over CGI to keep cost down
He's already used it at least once in a smaller capacity
Edit: I need to stay off reddit. I swear those fricks are the worst. And now some vocal minority are "disappointed" and giving some bullshite reasons

Super glad Jeff got Donut, he deserves it. Without him DCC wouldn't be as big as it is because of the audio books making the books way more accessible and fun with his audiobook style.
I think Seth will probably be the AI. Either that or Mordecai. Seth Green is really pushing for Mordecai though.
I'm hoping Felicia Day gets Zev.

A few are disappointed it's not a woman
Way too many have commented "how can he keep it going for a long series, he's already said how hard it is to maintain, and his donut voice has gotten soooo much worse over the books"
I never heard Jeff say Donut was a strain and it hasn't gotten worse
What I did hear him say, in interview and live on YouTube, is that Carl is hell on his voice and that he has trouble getting into at times
I called them out and others backed me up and conveniently "of course the article is gone and I can't find it now"

The fb pages are better but there are many who criticizing his Donut voice. Ive figured out they do not understand in the chats she is still talking in all caps and he enunciates that way

I question whether someone understands anything about the story if they can't wrap their head around that. Her typing in all caps and her dislike of tattoo's are two of my favorite Donut running jokes.

Just finished The Gate of the Feral Gods. Really enjoyed that book. I had to do some reading on the Wiki to understand the layers in the bubbles (specifically the separation of land/air) but it made sense pretty quick.
I have questions in regards to the actual artifact and its presence in Bubble 543, but I am hesitant to research to not spoil anything in the future.

The "why" wouldn't be much of a spoiler, but you should avoid researching it in general, as dodging spoilers would be difficult.

As a book reader, it's obviously extremely obvious. With that said, as someone who is currently working through the audiobooks, they only reference her typing in all caps a few times, and it's mostly fairly early in the series. I could see someone losing track of that as the series went on.

They are obviously complete and utter different books. With that said, DCC is a sincerely fun read. Plus, it’s fricking fast. The books get much better after the first, but you should be able to tell during the first whether it’s your jam.

I'm more curious about whether the artifact exists in every bubble or if it was only specific to 543. If it was only specific to their bubble then I'm starting to put the pieces together, especially with the "help" received at the end of the book.
The epilogue was also quite telling and the seeds planted earlier are starting to make more sense.

As least as far as we know as of the most recent book, the artifact you’re referencing was only present in one iteration. With that said, that’s simply based on the observation that no other is mentioned. It is not, to my recollection, ever stated outright that it’s unique, though I would welcome someone else to chime in if I’m wrong on that.
