I get that, but what would it hurt to tell Cat? Maybe he didn't trust her and thought she might tell someone? He is keeping his promise by protecting and watching over Jon, especially from Robert.

Harrenhall would be pretty awesome as well.

-robert and lyannas last talk, howland reed in attendace
i'd like to see this
then they should come out with this:
quote:
Aegons conquest of westeros
- field of fricking fire with 3 dragons
or at least show like a 20 minute lead in to the rebellion movie with that going through a short history of westeros and the targs, leading to the mad king
but i agree that the rebellion would have to be about 3 movies
and sean bean couldnt play ned stark
not because he'd be too old, makeup could fix that, but because he wouldnt die in it

And I think all this will happen. She already knows Littlefinger killed Jon Arryn and basically forced Ned down to King's Landing. Littlefinger has gotten careless around Sansa, and it wouldn't shock me if he directly told Sansa about framing Tyrion, and then would say the wrong word that would make Sansa realize he told Joffrey to kill him.
My bet on how Sansa makes the connection: Littlefinger wants to do something brutal that Sansa will protest, and he will tell her that she merely has the soft heart of a woman. Sansa will definitely remember those words and immediately make the connection.
ugh that would piss me off. that would be the most cliché thing in the world. i really hope you're not right. LF needs to go out in a blaze of glory

I don't know that it was so much he couldn't trust her as he was honoring the potential promise not to tell anyone. For all we know Lyanna specified that he couldn't tell even Cat.

I would like to see Littlefinger reach a little too far, depend on Sansa for something, and then when he realizes his mistake and that she's betrayed him she just smirks and tells him, "I told you never to trust me." And then the Northmen or Men of the Vale execute him.

When Littlefinger goes to marry Sansa, a fake septon who is Rickon, Jon Snow, or Arya kills him. Right after the mortal wound is given. Sansa whispers "The North remembers"

Love it!
Sansa one-upping Littlefinger would be karmic payback in a way/show that LF weakness is that he's an opportunistic social climber who loves chaos & always prides himself on being in-the-know. I definitely don't see Petyr alive at the end of this series. While a lot of "good" characters die in this series, some of the bad ones end up getting theirs, i.e. Joffrey.
Littlefinger thinks he has all the brains but will be out-witted.

I'd almost rather Sansa go end up sort of amoral and have the ending of the series with Littlefinger and Sansa as co-monarachs sitting on side by side thrones and holding Court.
Or - here's another crackpot theory - Littlefinger is revealed as an agent for the Others. Though an Andal, he has been working with the Others to sow discard to make their conquest/annihilation easier. Similar to Baltar in the original '78 Battlestar Galactica.

Sansa probably had the best crash course on how not to rule a kingdom.
She's a lot like the Westeros version of Dany except without dragons and military power.
Assuming she matured from the awful life events, it could be interesting to see what she would do with actual power.

This. Until Feast, every Sansa chapter was met with "not this sh%t again!" After starting Feast, Cersie's chapters took over that moniker.

Sansa and the snow castle: (one way to see it)
The snow castle is Winterfell, but representative of House Stark (the family) not the seat.
The doll is rep'tive of an object or entity used opposite its intended or perceived purpose - a plaything used as a weapon- perceived care/ friendship is not what it appears to be...actually the opposite.
The hand controlling this entity: Robbyn Arryn...also known as The Lord of the Vale...
A clear warming for Sansa to beware LF/ become aware of what he's doing.
Sansa destroying the doll, making Lord of the Vale very angry. Sounds like a showdown brewing.

Oh, Sansa sucks... It is known.
But you know how GRRM likes to flip shite with character development.
Sansa would be a challenging but satisfying one to flip.

What? Cersei's chapters were great, as were Sansa's. Sansa herself isn't that interesting, but the things that went on around her were. Joffrey, the Hound, and Littlefinger were all very prominent in her chapters, all of which are interesting characters.

this. in AFFC, Cersei had arguably the most entertaining chapters, and I loved Sansa's because I got to see how LF plotted things.

i would jack off if sansa tried to beat LF at his own game, but he anticipated it and it resulted in her dying.
