The Northwest Indiana Bears just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? Chicago Bears fans have had a lot to be happy about this season, until now...

So gay. But at the same time at least you are out of the communist state of Illinois

Somehow, "Monsters of the Corn Field" doesn't have quite the same ring as the Midway one.

Everyone is trying to copy the Atlanta Braves model.

The model is to build the stadium away from black people?

If that’s the plan, it’s not a very sound one. Northwestern Indiana has the highest black population in the state outside of Indianapolis

Yes. Less chance of you coming back to find your car on bricks and windows shattered.

Indiana? I had no idea Arlington Heights had moved to Indiana. Do the people living there know?

is it really that big of a deal?

For example:

The Jets and Giants play in New Jersey

The 49ers play 45 miles away from San Francisco in Santa Clara

Ask the Wasington Redskins, their new stadium was built outside of DC.. in the ghetto. It's a terrible location only chosen because the land was so cheap.. going to a game is an exercise of not getting mugged and making sure you leave the stadium before security goes home.

The vibe of the games are terrible, and every single fan prays every single day that they move back to RFK Stadium or at least tear it down and build a new one there. The Bears moving out of downtown sucks.

Would be pretty shitty to leave the middle of the city to go outside of town. The race to have these biggest modern stadiums is so dumb. Never any sense of tradition or nostalgia anymore.

Ever seen Soldier Field? It's easily the most unique stadium in the NFL. It's been retrofitted, updated, and updated again. They didn't take the Lambeau approach of trying to keep the stadium as close to the original in regards to style and it has become an eyesore IMO. LINK

Leo didn't read the article he posted, it does not say they are moving to Indiana. In fact it says the opposite, they are moving to Arlington Heights.

It said that they want to build in Arlington Heights but they are being forced to consider Indiana due to a lack of government buy-in.
