How Much Tony Romo Is Making Per Game This Season?
© Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports
Former Cowboys QB Tony Romo had a decision to choose between CBS and ESPN. Now seeing what he makes per game, I think he made the right decision...
quote:

“Romo’s yearly salary is $17.5 million with another $500,000 divided between private travel and an assistant,” Marchand reported. “That means he would make $900,000 per three-hour telecast. Romo’s base of $17.5 million would be a top-50 contract for players this season and his overall deal is fully guaranteed.”

Considering that actors/actresses get $1 million an episode for garbage sitcoms, why not give Tony a little dough?

Does anyone watch a football game, that they would not typically watch, but because Romo is calling the game they'll tune in for 3 hours? I've never watched a game based upon the broadcasters so how is this a good investment?

It just goes to show you how much money this country wastes on things that at the end of the day don't matter. Someone is being paid 17.5 million dollars to talk about a football game on Sunday's. God help us our priorities in this country are so out of wack. That money sure could help a lot of other people.
