Will be interesting to see how much Jerry would be willing to pony up in that trade. Not getting past the divisional round for 25 years is probably driving him nuts.

He'll take one year off, then replace Mike McCarthy in 2023.

Listen to TigerTail3, acting like a group of people trying to publicly disgrace the President is something new. Dude must have been in a coma during the Trump administration.

Well, his father is struggling in that iron lung because of little Larry's unending failure. He has all of our pity.

Easier to quit when you don't have Brees anymore. I'll give Belichick credit, he continues on without Brady. Payton got a taste of life without Brees and said, "Nope. I'm out."

He went 9-8 without Brees and a rotating QB, there were quite a few seasons of 7-9 with Brees. He probably got out because the city and mayor is a shithole.

Don't blame him. frick New Orleans it fricking sucks.

HurricaneMike and A Menace to Sobriety, you act like New Orleans just got a shitty mayor and crime. We've had that for decades. He lost Brees (a HOF QB) and Payton knew it was a long way to the top (especially after what they paid Taysom Hill). That's why he feels like "it's time."

Immediately go bag a combo of Brian Flores/Eric Bieniemy/Todd Bowles/Mike Zimmer/Anthony Lynn/Dan Quinn. Flores HC/Zimmer DC/Bieniemy OC would rock.

Knew he wanted out. Thought for sure he was considering the LSU job.

Are you serious? You knew for sure he was considering a college job?
