Oklahoma Fans Are Loving What Bob Stoops Said
by Larry LeoNovember 30, 2021

With Lincoln Riley off to La La Land, former legendary Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops was quickly named interim head coach of the Sooners. How "interim"...? Well, he sounds like he's not too "interim"...

Agree, OU has an assassin like Stoops hanging around for the rest of his life. That’s a strong arse situation

Good man. Like to see UK and Oklahoma meet in a Bowl game. That would be a trip.

OU put the bat signal up and Big Game Bob showed up when they needed him. Props to him. He didn’t have to come back, but he did anyway.

I felt like at times late in his career Bob wasn't feeling it anymore but I'm thinking (hoping) this break was just what he needed and he comes back full of fire. Whether it's interim or for a few more years, I'm happy to have him back

Probably a lot of guilt for bringing in Lincoln Riley and watching him ditch the program he built.

That is the kind of guy you want watching your back. He has zero reason to do this. Man is legit.

Say what you want about him, but he’s a freaking boss. The man is loyal, dependable, and commands respect. I’m starting to really respect him as a person, and not just as a great coach. And Mark seems to have those qualities as well.
