Update: After the decision was made Meyer said he completely understood because they were a 2 loss team, including a really bad 30 pt loss. He did not complain. He said the committee had a job to do and he thinks they made the right decision. He is looking forward to his Bowl game. Case closed. He was all class.

Ok, for all of you that are just happy that there are 2 SEC teams in the playoffs, just think about this. We do not compete with other conferences for recruits like we do with Bama. In my opinion the less Bama wins and the further they get from a national championship the better off we are. As long as Saban can lay out those rings and almost guarantee young recruits a shot at a title in the four years they are on the team they will go for it whether they get to play or not.
