Tim Tebow Hits His First AAA Home Run Then Gets Silent Treatment From The Dugout
© Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports
Tim Tebow hasn't had the best year in the minor leagues, but on Sunday he did hit his first career AAA homer. Which was followed by the silent treatment from his teammates when he returned to the dugout. Always fun...

I just don't know why some people are so bothered by this guy. I'd understand if he had the personality of Conor McGregor, but damn.... :casty:

It's because he is a dirty word in today's PC world - Christian.

Man, Tebow is a good guy and I’m pulling for him. He’ll prob never make the majors bc of his age (prob ability also) but guy is living out his dream.

I want to see Tebow hit one right handed because I’ve heard that he goes both ways.

Not sure how many people will get the Major League reference, but that is a great line.

You mean the guy that works hard and stays out of trouble making excellent life decisions? Those endeavors?

Sucks? He's one of the best to ever play CFB and is a good baseball player but just not MLB level.

Just put him in the majors already. The Mets are awful anyway. It'll bring more people to their games, even if he only pinch hits very little.

He has a .216 OBP with a 40% K rate. He should decline any potential promotion.

You miss the point. He could literally strike out every time and people would still show up just to see him at bat. Now, it would wear off after a while, but short-term it would certainly draw a crowd.

It'd be embarrassing being there as a sideshow who's going to strikeout every AB. I could see if it was someone who needed the money but that's not Tebow. Also, I think you over-estimate how long NYC would find that story cute. Once he start whiffing the NYC media and loudmouth New Yorkers would take great joy in trashing him and the Mets.
