If the Washington Post was writing an article on my coaching career and I hadn't read it yet, I would be flattered because I would know it would be a fantastic article about the many successes I had with players on and off the field. I wouldn't be talking about defamation lawsuits unless I had done some questionable stuff. Add downvotes.
