Meanwhile people in the Nola comments acting like he's already broke for buying his mom of all people a car. People really have some nerve.

Of course LF can do what he wants to do with his money. I would hope that he take care of his baby's mama's and children, and maybe, just maybe do something that black athletes don't always do and marry one them and be a committed husband and father.

He's going to take care of his kids no doubt, but this isn't the old days. You don't have to get married if you have a kid with someone, and half of em end up in divorce anyway.

He should listen to Jamal and put money in the bank. Start a new trend of athletes living within their means and saving for the future. Nah... that'll never happen

That car is well within his means...

Yea, for now. Odds are he will retire in his early to mid thirties. We live in a spend first ask for help later when the money dries up society.

He can buy 8 of those and put money in the bank. This has no bearing on his financial stability.

I am in the minority for sure on this. I am all for taking care of Mom/parents for all they sacrifice to get these athletes to this level. But a car just isnt worth spending this kind of money on... Buy them a nice house that wont be replaced in 4-5 years.

You wouldn't because you can't.

Yeah. If you really want to take care of Mom and Dad, instead of spending $80K+ on a car, pay off their debt and hire a financial adviser to make sure they have financial security long-term, not some depreciating asset.

His endorsement deals alone could have easily covered the cost of the car.

The so called "fans" on this site are pathetic. Congratulations to Fournette, and kudos on supporting mom. Give the kid a break, and pray he has good financial people supporting him.

Best of luck to him. Great RB and looks to be a great person. May he be all we expect him to be in the NFL.

Ow many times can you say moms, I realize you aren't a bastion of credibility or beacon of journalism, but that is ridiculous. If you can't speak or type properly don't.
