The LSU Board of Supervisors has voted to hire McNeese President Wade Rousse to be the next president of LSU.

Former Alabama Provost James Dalton will serve as the system's vice president and chancellor of the LSU-Baton Rouge campus.

Rousse and Dalton will replace former LSU President William Tate IV, who left the university earlier this year to join Rutgers University. Per The Advocate:
quote:

As a Louisiana native and president of McNeese State University, Rousse positioned himself in interviews as a candidate with a nontraditional background who would shake up the university. Before joining McNeese in 2019, he spent significant time in the private sector, including co-founding a marine logistics firm.

The LSU Board of Supervisors voted 12-01 for Rousse and Dalton. Political insiders said he was Gov. Jeff Landry’s favored candidate for the job and had an inside track with the board.

LSU fell academically from 75th to 168th under the previous DEI president. So maybe a change is necessary. Still Verge might or might not be a DEI hire we will soon find out whomever he hires as football coach. If he goes for the lazy hire Wilson

He confounded a marine logistics firm. He, definitely, has the credentials to lead LSU to the promise land.

I’m no fan of Landry but I can’t name a single democrat that’s better than him. Democrats suck across the board. Atleast there is some good republicans

What makes you think they will settle? Have you even read the guys credentials? Any thoughts to the actual moves Jimmy Sexton might have to do with all of this?
