New LSU safety transfer Major Burns from Georgia is already making some impressive plays during the Tigers first few days of fall practice.

In this clip below, which isn't the best video quality, you can see Burns leap for a one-handed interception in the secondary.

Two weeks ago, head coach Ed Orgeron said that Burns has the best chance to start at safety while speaking at the Baton Rouge Rotary Club.

We as fans deserve better background music for practice clips posted here. That’s just embarrassing

I have news for you. Everything you like is not what everyone is supposed to like. You aren’t the standard.

Nice. Now we just have to keep him away from Hot Lips Houlihan, and make sure he doesn't get provoked by Hawkeye.

He really wasn't in good position for that ball. If it was thrown right he would've got torched. He was going one way and the WR was going deeper. It was a terrible throw. Great INT though.

That receiver better be a better defender on that play

We basically traded Arik for Burns and got the seemingly better player and the position that we need much more than tight end

Amazing catch. Now need to make sure we don’t step forward on a pass going over head. The catch alone tho was spectacular.

Who threw that ball. It looked like a wounded duck. He could have almost fair caught it.

Great catch Underthrown ball though..he would have been toast if pass was thrown in a better spot. Otherwise though, trying to recover from that ridiculous noise playing during the video

Great catch but he should have been in a better position. A top WR would have been fighting for the ball and not just back there watching.
