One thing 2019 did was to eliminate the bitter taste of 2011. 2011 lingered on for way too long due to the losing streak that followed. 2019 did a lot to reset the community's attitude towards the team.

There are some players that make the coach look brilliant. Case in point that LSU knows well. Brett Favre and Curly Hallman.
