Success has made our program SOFT. These guys think they are good. They don't have to work for it or have anything to prove - that's the attitude. Bama & Clemson don't allow complacency. They are disciplined. 1/2 the team doesn't disappear the moment they can for the NFL. They don't have Opt Outs. Waddle, D. Smith, Najee Harris, Trevor Lawerence, Etienne, they are all #1 picks - they are ALL PLAYING. It matters to them they don't let their school or their brothers down. Our guys get fat in the offseason, stop attending class, and Opt Out. What else does he have to prove? I keep hearing that bullshite. The names listed above play for something more than a future paycheck. They want to leave a legacy, not a 1 year wonder. I love the Tigers. I love LSU and watching our guys have success and get paid...... making us proud, producing in the NFL, and carving out a future for themselves, but this is the truth. We have a weak culture. Our guys bolt the 1st chance they get.

The effort level, especially on defense is pitiful. I saw Stevens loafing on a play that he could have made. Stingley made a pitiful effort the make that tackle where they scored a TD. That is 2 of our defensive leaders and they are setting a shite example. No excuses. Its gut check time for these guys.

Fellas I hate to tell you this but this team doesn’t care. They have been so focused on bullcrap like BLM and social justice nonsense that football was second to them. This is not all on the coaches. These kids are not focused and do not look like they have any desire to play this year. In short it looks like many of the players do not care. A few do but the majority play like they are going through the motions. We look like Arkansas last year when their kids were just not interested.
