If Baskerville, Flott, Clark and Harris are on the field, this defense will likely not improve. It would take a miracle for any of those four to play near the LSU level that has been set.

They don’t have to be superstars. They just have to do their job.

“We want an attacking style defense where we can dictate terms and play fast.“ I hate to be this guy, but didn’t O or Pelini say almost the same exact thing last year?!

That part I agree I think lsu needs to run the 3-3-5 defense like the best defense in CFB history our 2011 defense bc that matches up very well with the spread attacking offenses that we see in today college football

You kind of missed Jones main message the difference between him and Pelini. Our new DC simply said players first and schemes second and player development. Jones scheme is multible Pelini's scheme was outdated and past it's prime and whatever Pelini was teaching the players wasn't getting. So you would think DC Daronte Jones can relate to the players and get them to play at their full potential.

You just have to be real careful with that or have players trained really well with the target-happy refs these days.
