Dan Orlovsky was one of the worst QB’s in NFL history and has followed it up by being one of the worst announcers ever.

Keep the commutators, move the kickoff time!!!

Anybody but Tessitore. That guy makes games damn near unwatchable with his dramatic UFC knockout style reactions every snap.

That’s his job as color analyst, and he is trying to create drama, even though the game is a knock out one sided. That’s why he calls boxing so well. I find him cute and entertaining.

Most “commentators” don’t really add much to the broadcast. Just comments like Team A really need to score a TD on this next possession. Remarkable insight, I thought that was the object of the game! If I don’t like the announcers, I just turn on some music and watch the game.

Thank god it’s not Tessitore!

Well, LSU Sports Radio Network it is. Chris, Doug, and Gordy.

I have to listen online and it's way delayed, so a nogo. As for the pregame show, I try every year to listen and hope it gets better...but nope.

Too many commercials (the same damn ones) bad audio every single time. It's like a high school game broadcast but worse. The content is good but the technological incompetence oozing thru the show make it unlistenable for me.

Agree, tried to reply to cajunmud, but cant. And yes the LSU app for our radio broadcast is 10-12 seconds delayed. You have to time your TV up to it. Most boxes or tv streaming services offer a pause button for your viewing pleasure

Thanks for the reply docTQ4 but I watch OTA (antenna) or stream it from a bootleg site. I refuse to be extorted by the criminal cable monopoly and the way I stream it is about as good as paying one of the tech companies. But thanks.

Glad I won't have to listen to Gary Danielson.

Come-on guys give Dan some slack. He is working on multiple years of brain damage due to concussion for all his years as a QB!

Orlovsky? Watching this one with the radio on.

Bob Wischusen is terrible. Sadly, LSU didn’t get McDonough/Blackledge this season. Best team of announcers on college football and it’s not even close. Instead, we got the awful Joe Tessitore 6 times and we get a second helping of Wischusen for the bowl game. Gross.

I agree on McDonough and blackledge being the best. Tessitore is the worst, just a curly one ahead (or behind) Danielson

Herbie and Fowler?

But we got Greg McElroy and he is the best young analyst in the game. And really pulls for LSU to win when not against Bama.

And out of the 1400 bowls games being played...LSU & Tulane play at the same damn time!

Tulane might pull in 100k viewers.

Dan is the worst in every way.

Not ideal, but better than McElroy’s Bama homer arse calling yet another LSU game

Honestly McElroy has been overly complementary toward LSU this year. Still a Bama Homer but he's ok.

Is anyone not a Bama Homer? Do we need to make a list?

Dude I feel a lil guilty by having all of those LSU/Louisiana folks throughout the sports media world. Ain't none of them Bama homers.

I’d take this crew everyday if I didn’t have to have SEC refs.

When you play in a "c"bowl game you get a "c"crew

Man, if that is true, the SEC office needs to get its shite together. If you are an SEC team here is the order. First CFP if you are selected. Then the Sugar Bowl for the SEC Champ unless they are in the CFP, otherwise the Sugar takes the highest-ranked SEC team that is not in the CFP. Then the Citrus bowl selects its SEC opponent. Then the league office selects for the remaining bowl games with SEC tie-ins.

I have never seen someone just make stuff up during a call like this dude does. And then doubles down on his own made up ideas.

Cody Worsham was on Twitter the other day saying Orlovsky was one of the best. I blame him.
