Sat in the endzone section he received t the punt from and on the same side of the hash as he began the run upfield and you could see he wasnt being stopped. Arkansas came in as #3 for that game and LSU blew them out. What a season to remember!

I still say Tyrann Mathieu is one of the best 3 college football players over the last 20 years. Biggest regret is we didn't get a chance to see himn play for 1 more year!

A TD member posted some great pics from that game, including one during that run. Still have a copy on my phone. The looks on the faces in the crowd and on the sidelines are great. Wish I had a poster of it.

This guy is such a good example of being a man and admitting your faults and facing the music. He fell hard in life after that sophomore season and got cleaned up with the help of PP7. Amazing that he cheers for a university that expelled him but he realized his faults. He also was fun to watch on the field. Geaux Tigers.

Still give me chills watching that guy play in an LSU uniform. Travesty that he didn't win a Heisman.

...and his swagger hasn’t returned since.

Yet he signed the highest contract for a safety (at the time of his most recent signing). Yeah, I guess NFL execs like throwing away money to swag-less players. Good point.

I've never seen anybody like him in the college game, an actual once in a generation player.

Like the one against Georgia better.

Never give the badger a running head start on a punt return or int. Unless you want it returned for a TD.

I love what happens to Arky punter who had late hit on Mathieu

Was there. Got things rolling. Arky fans around me where talking big until that play. They knew the sleeping giant had awakened. Still pisses me off when punter shove TM from behind in endzone

Once a player crosses the goal line it should be a penalty to shove him, push him hit him after the touchdown is scored. The same as hitting a player who is out of bounds or a late hit on a quarterback.

My Yankee cousin attended that game with me and said that play was the loudest sound he'd ever heard.
