LSU head coach Ed Orgeron addressed the media on Thursday after the team's arrival into Phoneix for Fiesta Bowl and announced that freshman cornerback Kelvin Joseph and freshman offensive tackle Dare Rosenthal did not make the trip as they are both suspended for a violation of team rules.

Orgeron added that junior defensive end Travez Moore did not travel with the team due to a personal issue.

Really disappointed seeing this new trend of individual over team. Equally so in those of you defending this new selfish generation of players.

Run the ball, run the ball, run the ball. UCF is #117 in rushing defense. Pound it and minimize UCF's time of possession.

Weed strikes again. Just take it off the list. It's not a PED. Even the IOC won't DQ over it.

If you can't stop smoking weed, stay home and watch on TV.

As long as it’s a rule, stop smoking weed. But in the meantime, it’s about time we change the rules and take it off the damn banned substances list.

Really only worried about Kelvin Joseph. Definitely needed him. Man, this is rough. We're not playing with a full deck for this game. If it were UCF with their players missing, beating them still would feel "off." But, as they say, "next man up."

They are missing their QB who is one of their best players

Good to know. That matches well with our DB depletion. I feel much better about the game now. I'm sure they do, too.

Their backup QB had a huge game in the conference championship. He’s more a mobile QB than Milton but his passing ability isn’t close

Kelvin Joseph too. We are getting really really thin at corner.

Greedy Williams need to take his head out his arse, and take a sacrifice for his team. If your a real tiger and see your teams depht depleted at your position make a selfless move for your squad.

I'm not sure if he has signed an agent yet, but if so, he couldn't anyway.

I agree. Screw having a future. It’s all about the love for a game you don’t get paid and are forced to play.

Violation of team rules? Sounds like a failed drug test. This is somewhat discouraging especially with Rosenthal. A lot of people think he is the answer for left tackle next season. If he is violating team rules and being suspended for a bowl game, IDK what to think of depending on him to play every game next year.

Chill. Rosenthal was not going to make or break our Fiesta performance.

He was clearly showing concern about Dare for next year and not the bowl game so I don't get your point?
