Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll Praises Ed Orgeron

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carrol spoke to the media at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, IN this week and was asked about LSU head coach Ed Orgeron.

Carrol had nothing but high praise for his former assistant coach.

"I can't be more excited for one of the guys that I spent time with in coaching," Carrol said. "Ed and I had a great time at USC. He was the first guy I found to hire when I was there and it was the biggest loss I had when someone left. it was really hard to replace him for all of the things he brings and all of the things I know he brings to the LSU program.

"When he was the head coach at SC, everybody could tell. He had a tremendous impact. You have already heard the responses from the players and the people around him, they can tell he has a tremendous impact on how they think and they operate and how they will represent the great university."

"He's a blast and I love him. I couldn't be more happy and more in support. We will stay connect through all of the challenges. And we share ideas whenever we can."
