Lane Kiffin made one of the biggest calls of the night during LSU’s win over Texas A&M, keeping the offense on the field for a fourth-and-1 that turned into a 57-yard touchdown.
After the game, Kiffin was asked about the aggressive decision, which felt like the play that sealed the win for the Tigers.
“That’s part of why we were hired here,” Kiffin said. “I almost didn’t do it. But I caught myself in the last second. That’s not how we roll. That’s not how we talk to our team.”
The gamble paid off in a big way as Sam Leavitt connected with Jackson Harris for the 57-yard score, giving LSU another explosive play on a night when the Tigers pulled away from the Aggies.
