We did this shite all the time in '03. Half the time they didn't even lock the gate at night.

The problem is too many people wanna go in and damage stuff. Back in the day people broke in get bootie on the 50. Nobody cared because nothing was getting damaged. But you got idiots that wanna go in and trash the place because they think its funny. Essentially screwing it up for everyone else. A shame too because getting down on the 50 is probably an awesome experience.

It was easy to get into the stadium in the 90s. Certainly doesn’t merit a felony burglary charge. My gf and I screwed on the field in 1999.

The guy Jacob Phillips that was arrested, isn't that the guy that orgeron was recruiting. A line backer? A freshman for 2017 season, didn't say anything about he was an athlete for football so I guess wasn't him?

When I was at LSU we used to sneak in and drink beer at the very top. And this led to the biggest controversy in our group of friend. The story goes one night my buddy dropped a beer bottle off the very top of tiger stadium at like 2am. It hit the ground but DID NOT BREAK. The 3 guys that were there swear this happened but I called BS. Led to a lot of heated debate on our back porch during that time. Justin if youre reading this I still call BS!!!

I completely respect and understand the actions of the authorities on this recent event. It wasn't very long ago that the university was the victim of two separate vandalisms on Tiger Stadium. Keep the riff raff out.

I lived in the stadium and fertilized the field often. A sacred place to me

LSU needs to chill out with this shite. I understand if they vandalized the field but this shite is stupid.

Maybe they’re tired of dealing with it?

Could be liability concerns. If they don't crack down some numbnuts will get hurt and sue the university.

Who didn't sneak into Tiger Stadium when you were a student there. Man the LSU Rent-A-Cops must be proud of themselves. They really stopped a major crime there.

The gates were literally opened when we went in and we waved at some personnel who were still working at the grounds while walking in AND while walking out!

Used to do this all the time. Never considered it would land me in jail.

What were they trying to steal?

Probably nothing, I snuck in several times just to chill in the stadium. Why? Because it's badass

That said, I never thought I would get arrested for doing so. It wasn't that long ago that people loved there

Getting into TS or getting arrested for burglary?

I agree. We literally walked in from an open gate on the east side near the north endzone. Walked a bit on the field but did not do anything destructive. That's like sacrilegious. Why would a student or fan want to vandalize tiger stadium??
