Wouldn't be surprised to see MB and JM leave. Narcisse knows he needs the work and has time to burn after redshirting. Maybe I'm wrong on who stays or goes but i definitely think we lose two. I hope this giy lives up to the hype. It's all bidness now.

Myles Brennen and Lowell Narcisse aren't going anywhere idiots. They're well aware that they aren't ready for big time college football and this actually relieves them of the immense pressure they were feeling to carry this team. This guy Joe Burrow is ready to do so and is pumped at the opportunity he has. He's going to beat them both out simply because of his confidence and excitement to play for a big time program. He's ready to prove to everyone that he's ready and can take a program to another level. If he excels I can see him taking this team to a possible playoff game. At the very least he will help us win 2 or 3 games we otherwise wouldn't have. This guy is a gun slinger and is exactly what Steve Ensminger is looking for. He needs to get here ASAP and learn this offense. He will also elevate the play of our youngsters while providing that leadership mentality. They've only had one year of this with Etling and that just isn't enough. With a legit QB it changes the game completely for LSU and the entire team. I'm sure Aranda is sitting at his big screen going over plays with a huge smile on his face knowing he can now take more risks with the Defense. Expand that playbook now Aranda. The leadership on D is insane along with the quality of depth we now have. The OL is light years ahead of last year. The weapons this guy will have at his disposal is insane and he knows it, which is why he picked the Tigers. This is huge for LSU. Anyone saying anything different is foolish. LSU can look very very very simular to how OM looked with Kelly and those big WRs except our OL and running game is much more advanced not to mention the TEs we have and the defense we can put out there on the field. Wow I'm pumped about this guy!!! GT

Chark and company got Etling drafted last year. Burrow is way ahead of where Etling was coming to LSU.

Anytime the Tigers add talent I’m for it. With that in mind which one of the current QB’s are we going to lose after picking up a guy that couldn’t win the job at his previous program? Hope this move doesn’t cost us big time.

We were losing one anyway. Thats why adding a 3rd scholly QB was important.

Btw i didnt dvote you, i think this is a legitimate question.

Not winning the job at OSU is completely different from not winning the job at LSU. Any of OSU's previous starting QBs dating back to Troy Smith, would smoke every single one of our QBs since 2007 (yes that means Matt Flynn included). Well, Boeckman was probably a little below Flynn.

This may save our season. The defense can go out there knowing we have a real QB and maybe have an easier time.

Big question is he actually better than Narcisse or Brennan.

Considering he's looked good with every chance you saw him, and Brennan and Narcisse haven't, I'd have to go with yes, he's much better. More field experience, more time in college, under actual QB coaches, good QB coaches, and takes the best of both (Narcisse legs, Brennan arm).
