ESPN College GameDay announced this past weekend that it broadcast from Colombia, S.C., on Saturday ahead of the LSU-South Carolina game kicking off at 11 am CT at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The announcement caught a lot of people by surprise and even left Paul Finebuam scratching his head. Per The Spun:
quote:

"There was as down on him as they could be," Finbaum said of Beamer. "Now they have College GameDay. Which, I don't know where that bus was going. Listen, GameDay is great, but the idea that GameDay would go to LSU at South Carolina? I mean, that's one of the more bizarre GameDay choices in its history."

After opening the season with a 23-19 win over Old Dominion, South Carolina earned a more impressive 31-6 victory at Kentucky. Finebaum claimed the Gamecocks "stole GameDay from Lexington" when speculating that ESPN would have instead chosen Kentucky had the Wildcats prevailed ahead of a colossal Week 3 matchup.

"In Lexington, all the students were asking me yesterday because Georgia comes there next week, 'You think GameDay will be here?' GameDay was going to Lexington," Finebaum declared.

This dude is not happy because that is how he lives his life.. I honestly don't remember ever seeing a segment on ESPN with him where he was happy and smiling. Has to be a miserable way to go through life..

This guy is such a loser. It was a little surprising sure, but none of the other games are really that much better choices so I dont get his gripe. They should go watch a shite Kentucky team get dog walked by UGA? get outta here you satellite dish ears havin arse.

Tennessee and Missouri should dominate the teams they are playing. LSU vs SC should be a good game.

I don’t think they wanted to go to a Fox televised game 2 weeks in a row.

I was watching Gameday and Corso even let it slip they were going to Lexington. It was all contingent on Kentucky winning and they didn’t get the job done

If that makes PF miserable, Gameday should go to Columbia every week.

So Paul is sour because he told some Kentucky kids they would get GameDay, then we beat their arse like Mandingo beats a cervix so no one is interested in watching Georgia beat them by 957362 points and rather come to the best SEC matchup of the day.

Got it.

I'm not happy either. What a waste of a GameDay when there's a better game environment in Madison, WI.
