These "Freudian slips" I've been told were things like "if only Notre Dame would buy me a fishing camp in Grand Isle" and "have you fished the barges at Fourchon Beach"

Yea, Freud slipped a few more million in this guy’s contract. With all the money and prestige that university holds, there did not seem to be an urge to lock him down. He got paid

Seemed like the AD said all the right things. Didn't come across as bitter or angry (at least through the tweets where he is paraphrased). Probably thinks ND will come out on top when the coaching search is done so why be mad.

Those "Freudian slips" can be heard clearly in the press conference following the Alabama loss in the playoff. Call them "Freudian slips" if you like, but he seemed to be no so subtly implying that he needed different types of players.

Brian Kelly REALLY wanted out of South Bend for some reason or another. Also, this Jack Swarbrick guy is cool as a cucumber.
