2017 four-star Nebraska linebacker commit Avery Roberts from Wilmington, DE had some interesting comments about LSU running back Leonard Fournette on Twitter Tuesday night.

For some reason, Roberts thought it would be a smart idea to respond to this tweet:

...With this response, which he later deleted:
quote:

Same thing I would do to anyone else….Tell him good night and put him to sleep! https://t.co/zmduDNDuQz

— Avery Roberts (@AveryLB11) May 31, 2016
And it was probably a good idea from him to delete the tweet because we all know what would happen if he had to face Fournette on the football field and it wouldn't be pretty for Roberts. Just ask Auburn defensive back Tray Matthews...

Or these four Florida defenders...

And you can't forget about what Fournette did to Texas A&M's Howard Matthews...

will say this about the dude, he does not lack for confidence. It's something you would want from a LB....unfortunately it's not going to happen

LOL, confidence? He knows he'll never play against Fournette unless he makes it to the NFL. That's like saying any troll (racist misogynist, or just any idiot) on the internet who knows that it's highly unlikely he'll never face the people he heckles online, has confidence.

It's a huge sign of respect that even OOC commits are using Fournette as an example when trying to tout their own abilities.

I love how grown adults are talking crap to a 17/18 year old and it also doesn't involve them.

Yet you're here on the Tiger Rant doing the same.

came here to post this, never seen a fanbase get so upset anytime, literally anyone, says anything remotely derogatory about a guy. This guy said this to hoping in his wildest dreams that anyone would give a frick enough to see it, much less have it be the main headline or a site that gets a ton of traffic.

What about the 17/18 year-old. Any thoughts about what he should/should not be doing?

R. Foster is lucky he got that cheap blindsided hit on Fournette, else that would've been his last football play of his life. Bama fans are RETARTED if they think that hit was Fournette going up against that dude. Fournette didn't even see him.

Lol Retarted. Surely Fournette saw little Marlon Humphrey, though.
