Missouri freshman defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo announced Tuesday that he is transferring to LSU.

The 6-1, 275 interior lineman from St. Louis, Mo., was a Freshman All-SEC selection for Mizzou this fall. He will have three years of eligibility left.

Wingo is LSU's 11th addition from the transfer portal. The 11 transfers, along with the 13 high school players that signed in December, gives the Tigers eight remaining scholarship spots they can still fill in the 2022 class.

Who cares about stars? He's a freshman All-SEC.

Ok maybe not the stars, HOWEVER he still didn’t play at Bama. How do you explain that one TT Boy?

TommyDaTiger… not every good player plays a Bama in case you didn’t already know… the NFL draft usually drafts from other schools too.. at least I think they do…

CBK slowly building up this team, as well as my optimism for 2022.

Is there any guards left in the portal

I just checked, there are some outthere. I know the other transfer that came over today is an interior O-lineman, but we need more for sure.

The kid Short is a one year BEAST. 6’3 like 340 pounds but he is a tackle and will ABSOLUTELY start for his one year and play his arse off for draft scouts. Also heard the Emory Jones true freshman coming in at guard will probably start as everyone is super high on this kid.

I think the coaching purge and cleansing of most malcontent players is pretty much complete. I’m sure there are a few transfers Kelly is after and a couple of HS athletes. Damn this is good.

But but but how many stars did he have coming out of high school. Not sure about him, know he made all SEC Freshman team but still would have felt much better if he was coming from Bama

Clearly, no one cares what you think.

Clearly you’re too stupid to get sarcasm. I’m class of ‘88. What year did you graduate?

Just checked 24/7. They have him as a 4 star, 94.0 rated player. Kids, that is a hell of pick up.
user avatar
TommyDaTiger30 months
Not sure what you saw but he’s a 3 star and 615 player ranking. 74 position ranking. Plus he’s DID NOT ATTEND BAMA!!!!!

Dude I really don’t wanna fight over this. I just looked at the Mizzo signing class of 2020 and took his rankings from there. Also guess you don’t get sarcasm from the above post or even that one
